It is important for anyone slightly interested in Bitcoin to read the Whitepaper to understand why the protocol was created and how it works. The 8-page document only takes 10 minutes or so to read. There is some technical jargon that can be skimmed through.
The Bitcoin Standard (Book)
The Bitcoin Standard is one of the most recommended Bitcoin books of all time.
The Bitcoin Standard by Saifedean Ammous analyzes the historical context of the rise of bitcoin, the economic properties that have allowed it to grow quickly, and its likely economic, political, and social implications. More than half the book sets the stage for why a new monetary system such as Bitcoin is needed.

The answer to "What is Money?" and how Bitcoin is the best form of money ever created.
The host, Preston Pysh, and guest Robert Breedlove are some of the industry's most well-known bitcoin educators. This multi-hour podcast is great for any beginner or even those who are more experienced in understanding Bitcoin.
