Publicly Open Positions
Bitcoin companies post open positions on:

Social Media
A company will identify one or more roles they need filled and post the open position along with a job description on their website. The company will then amplify the reach by posting the open position to a job board such as bitcoinerjobs.com. Many Bitcoin companies use their social media accounts (especially Twitter) to get the word out.
Privately Open Positions
Bitcoin companies also fill roles using these nontraditional methods:
Venture companies
Telegram groups
Word of mouth
Finding a talented employee who also understands Bitcoin is a challenging task for Bitcoin companies. To find talented people in Bitcoin, employers leverage different networks such as Bitcoin venture capital networks (Ten31, Lightning Ventures, etc), messaging networks (Telegram, Discord, etc), and personal networks (word of mouth). Find a way to implant yourself in any of these networks and your potential of landing a Bitcoin job will dramatically increase.
GOING ON OFFENSE
Lastly, go on offense.
Instead of waiting for a position to open up at a Bitcoin company, create your own position. Let Bitcoin companies know about your skillset and experience by reaching out to them directly. Tell them how you can add to their bottom line by hiring you.
