Bitcoiners,
30 days ago, I signed up for a cohort-based writing course to simplify my bitcoin content.
In that time, I wrote & published 30 Atomic Essays, learned the fundamentals of Digital Writing, made friends, and started gaining clarity carving out a niche in the bitcoin space. It has been a very rewarding (and challenging) journey, and I am more excited than ever to keep writing bitcoin content online.
Here are the 3 biggest things writing & publishing about Bitcoin consistently every day for 30 days taught me:
1. Writing a great hook
If the goal is to educate beginners on bitcoin, then I need to capture their attention with the right hook. There is actually a science to capturing someone's attention on social media. There is about 1-2 seconds before someone scrolls past your content on any medium to decide if your content is worth reading.
2. Formatting
Use headings, sub headings, bold, italics, numbered lists, and bullets to make content easier to read. Most people skim when they read and a writer's job is to help them save time by easily skimming through your content for their desired outcome.
3. Consistency leads to results
In 30 days, I developed a writing habit that has brought bitcoin educational content to hundreds of thousands of people. I can see that sharp increase using data analytics from Twitter, LinkedIn, and email newsletter.
If my content over the past 30 days has been helpful to you, let me know by replying to this email or commenting on this post. I plan on continuing to post educational content and open to any feedback.
Happy Monday,
-Pod
