How to Receive Bitcoin for the 1st Time ๐จ
Bitcoiners,
This guide explains how a beginner can receive Bitcoin for a fraction of a penny in less than 5 minutes.
Have you ever sent a bank wire or tried transferring money from one bank to another external bank? It usually takes a few days to complete, charges you ridiculous fees, and you have to hope your bank is open to submit the transaction. This tutorial will show you the benefits of transacting with bitcoin rather than using a bank to transfer value.
Unfortunately, many people have not transacted with bitcoin yet because they don't realize how easy and quick it is.
How to receive bitcoin in less than 5 minutes
Step 1: On your phone, go to the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
Step 2: Search for "Muun Wallet" and download the app.
Step 3: Launch the "Muun Wallet" app. Select Create a new wallet.
Step 4: Create a 4 digit pin for your wallet. Confirm your 4 digit pin.
Step 5: Select Receive. Then, select the Lightning tab at the top.
Step 6: You will be prompted to enable notifications. Select yes to enable.
Step 7: A QR code will appear along with a string of text that starts with "lnbc1...". This is your receive address which a sender will use to send you bitcoin.
Step 8: Select Copy to copy your receive address. Respond to this post or email by pasting your receive address and you will receive a few cents worth of bitcoin!
Now you have bitcoin in your wallet that you can send to others.
Quick and easy right?
Happy Thursday,
