Bitcoin meet-ups are a core part of bitcoin's grassroots movement.
Here's an overview of Bitcoin meetups with some resources on how to find a meet-up near you so you can attend a meet-up in the future.
What is a Bitcoin meet-up?
Bitcoin meetups are monthly or weekly local gatherings of bitcoiners that cover education, Q&A, networking, entertainment, technical discussions, and really anything else to do with Bitcoin. It is important to differentiate between a crypto meetup vs a Bitcoin meetup. Crypto meetups tend to be more focused on crypto trading with discussions about many different cryptocurrencies whereas Bitcoin meetups focus more on education and technology.
Where can I find a Bitcoin meet-up?
There are Bitcoin meet-ups that have been around since the early 2010s and there are brand new meetups popping up every week. Here are some ways you can find a nearby meet-up:

Search through the list on Bitcoin-only.com
Search through the list on Bitcoinerevents.com
Search for meet-up pages or organizers on Twitter
Attending your first Bitcoin meet-up
If you never attended a meet-up, you may be apprehensive about attending. Don't worry, I was too when I first started. The best piece of advice I can give you is to come prepared with a list of 3 top questions you want to ask other bitcoiners. The best way to break the ice with anyone at a bitcoin meetup is to:
Show you care about Bitcoin.
Don't be afraid to ask questions no matter how "stupid" or "simple" a question may be.
Lastly, if you can't find an existing meet-up nearby then start one!
