A New Era Is Upon Us
(Introduction to The Bitcoin Letter)
A Few Thoughts…
Ever hear of the phrase paradigm shift? If not, I will let the dictionary explain it.
A paradigm shift is happening before our eyes and very few people know about it. Our society is transitioning to a new Era. The word Era can be synonymous with Revolution in the context of this article. Let’s break down some of the recent Era’s.
Agricultural Era - allowed humans to transition away from hunter & gatherers as mankind learned to harvest food.
Industrial Era - allowed humans to produce goods and services on a scale like never seen before.
Digital Era - allowed humans to communicate through technological advances such as the Internet and Smart Phones on a scale like never seen before.
Money Era - allows humans to store value and instantly transact without permission on a scale like never seen before.
The Money Era
Welcome to the Money Era. Our ancestor lived through one or more Era’s in the past, however, I think the Money Era is by far the most important for the advancement of mankind.
What is the Money Era?
The Money Era is the solution to our money problem. Our money system evolved over time from trading coins to now transacting with digital dollars. Think about it for a second, when was the last time you used cash or a coin to pay for anything?
Money has evolved and is pretty convenient now, but it is not perfect. The root of our money problem is that we, as a society, do not decide the money supply. Only a few powerful people and centralized banks decide the money supply, which means a few people have all the power in our society.
This centralized bank system has been around for hundreds or even thousands of years at least. The old money system allowed mankind to get to this point in human history. In early 2021, we are now experiencing a paradigm shift from the old money system to the new money system.
The New Money System
Enter Bitcoin.
Bitcoin is the paradigm shift most people have still yet to grasp. Bitcoin takes all the great qualities of the old money system and builds upon it. Bitcoin removes the few powerful people from having ultimate control over our society. Bitcoin is built on code, rather than trusting a handful of greedy humans.
Bitcoin was the first of its nature. Now, there are other utilities looking to expand upon the idea of Bitcoin and its inherent network. These new utilities can be classified as:
Crypto
Cryptocurrencies
Smart Contracts
Bitcoin and Crypto have only been around for a little over a decade now. It is still unbelievably new, yet has progressed so much in such a short amount of time.
The shift from the dollar system we use to this new Bitcoin standard is hard to grasp. That is why I created Bitcoin EDU - to make it easier to understand.

I am an average 25 year old just trying to live my life in happiness. I was working as an engineer. I loved grabbing a beer with friends, playing in sports leagues, etc. You know, the normal shit a 25 year old would like to do.
This past year really changed me. I started asking myself questions such as what is money? how is money created? where is money created? when is money created? who creates the money?
That is when I truly discovered the paradigm shift I was living in, even if I did not realize it right away. I realized there was and still is huge demand for Bitcoin and Crypto-related education. So like a rational 25 year old would do, I quit my high paying engineering job to start an educational platform centered around Bitcoin education.
Bitcoin EDU is the most credible, honest, and transparent source of information for all things Bitcoin and how other cryptocurrencies impact Bitcoin.
The Bitcoin Letter is an extension of Bitcoin EDU.
